Weather:
Occasional brilliance.
Sunday I’ll be presenting and burying something near and dear to my heart at this year’s Terraformer show. I’ll also be eating some delicious food at Pleasant House and having a beer at Maria’s. It’s an annual Bridgeport tradition. I always think I should look to move down there but eventually I head home and it takes a long time and I forget that concept immediately.
I’ve been a little slow in posting lately but I’ve been working furiously so I’m certain you’ll forgive me if I forget anything. A recent round up of Chicago videos worth watching:
– Bellafonte with some Burnham and Wilson footage and some tractor musing
– For 4/20 the Beerics followed the 40 and Bing Liu added to his recent releases.
– The full Chity video. One of my all time favs. Lot’s of night skating downtown. Dudes having fun. Solid parts all around.
I made a small amount of these unauthorized bootleg Dude Life coolers. Want one? They’re $12 and all proceeds go toward a new bike wheel and film. Own a hand painted piece of history today.
These are the things that happened:
Not my favorite building but not too bad inside. The Thompson Center.

They rounded up the pigeons in Uptown and sent them to a farm to be shot but as you can see you can’t really round up the pigeons.
They say it was the wetest April in recent years and possibly in forever but I’m not convinced. Don’t get me wrong. It rained terribly.
It’s always comforting to see the train from a new vantage point.
