the elasticity of time

Weather:
Springtime signs are starting to materialize.

It’s been awhile and I still have two full posts I need to put up. There’s all the AZ photos and of course the blizzard photos. I’ll try and get to that sometime soon. For now here are some things to be aware of.

Next week is the 2nd Annual Chicagofest. I’ll be there behind the Parking Block table. Come by and say hi.

Friday night, March 25th, the Art Dump is having a show at the mighty Post Family’s space. Looks like there’ll be top shelf movie posters and Girl/Chocolate/ 4star videos. I hope they play that one 4 Star video where they skate the perfect ditch.

Saturday night is the release party at the DLX shop for Isaac McKay-Randozzi’s new Stereo boards. I was I could be out in SF for the festivites.

Other exciting news? Yeah Boardshop celebrates 3 years of making things happen, The Street Canoe now has the goods for you to grab and Lou’s debut is on iTunes.

I’ve tried to avoid watching too much Japan coverage but I’m impressed with the way they’ve handled the terrible destruction and threat of nuclear meltdown. They seem to be doing their best. I guess that’s all you can do. If you can donate some time or money to the charity you think will do the most with it. Here are few artists that are offering their work to help raise funds. One of my all time favorite pen masters Rui Tenreiro is offering a special print and the always awesome Mark Penxa is offering his sketchbook. Bid high!

Okay the housekeeping has been tended to. Here are the things that happened.

TJ sent over the first two copies of Hazy Days. These were made in small runs so I was really honored to grab one. Give him a yell to get yours before they’re gone.
