Weather:
Easily the most brutal winter I can remember. Constant steady snow and when it’s not snowing windchill temps in the -30 range. The new winter coat I bought was the best investment I could’ve made.
2014 has been pretty weird so far. Lot’s of exciting developments on the way. This is going to be the best year yet!
This Saturday, February 8th: Arluck Time 2014! See you there.
Here are a few things I meant to mention last year:
Orange by Timothy Olson is now available from Parking Block Publishing. You can find it here.
My main man Alex got a beautiful write up on Flaunt. Morley Musick comes through with the video.
Beachy is on the mend after busting his bones. Here is an excellent edit he made last year. Can’t wait to get him back in the mix.
Tengu, easily one of the best vids of 2013.
Jesse Ward’s mural at Uprise get’s timelapsed.
Transportation Unit’s red curb invitational. I wish I could’ve been there for it!
I had a bunch of pictures that I meant to post at the end of the year and a bunch of new ones from January so start scrolling. These are the things that happened.
I saw this in a Target. It is amazing.
Me, in a yellow room, looking sort of like Bub.
Willis Earl Beale giving his all.
Where purple rain comes from.
So much snow shovels are snapping.

A good night last year. I miss the usual Friday nights.

The premier of the last Hated Video.
Portrait of Dick Buckley for Mike.
My pick for best fried chicken in Chicago, Smalls.
Camping in Door County.
Normally I don’t love camping.
Mainly I like to stay in cities.
This year I had a bit of fun with it.
I’ll probably do it again sometime in 2014 if she wants to go.
This trip was extra good cause we got to swing by the Milwaukee Art Museum. They have a fantastic looking Folk exhibit up now. Can’t wait to head up and see it!
Back home.
The MCA. Always enjoyable. Open late and free Tuesday nights.
This seems like years ago.

Dan P with a noseslide the other way.
A pretty good day.
Farecard 2014 filming took us a little bit out of town.
Solid Sunday spot. Afterwards we got pizza.
Classic spot. No one ever wants to go there but I always end up having a good time.
They have fantastic tacos just around the corner.
Normally I say it’s the best city in the world but this winter is weighing on me.
This is back when snow still seemed liek a novelty.
Left behind from the dudes who fix cars in my alley.
We’re trying to cook up some things for this year.

This is about half a block from the park.
No-comply, Austin’s finest skateshop, is also going to serve tacos soon. I’m hoping they have that up and running before next year.
This was the time we went to little surf ditch and there was a squirrel in the engine. Don’t worry it was freaked out but fine.
