Here some things to keep you distracted while your waiting for the weekend to arrive. Said and Done just keeps growing and getting better. They revamped the site so you can see the submissions easier, some truely outstanding stuff. Nathan Baker makes complicated photographs here in Chicago. His show/music photos are some of the best. You Are Beautiful has updated there site. No explanation needed, just go and participate. Finally Scott Harrison has a new zine available. Have a look around, and pick yourself up a copy.
I went and saw the Germs this week. Well it was 3 of the 4 Germs and then the actor who’s going to play Darby Crash in the movie. I was at the Doubledoor show not the all ages one. They played all the songs. No one smoked. Old ex-skinheads look like they became cops. There was a couple in front of me that must’ve been there with a buddy from work. They look confused and left early. I never thought hardcore bands would be doing nostalgia tours. Next stop the state fair.
