Weather:
Saturday and Sunday-The lower 30’s but when the sun was shining it was nice enough to enjoy the air.
Put up a new picture in the gallery and just ate flap-jacks for dinner. Breakfast for dinner is hard to top.
Got to see my friend Mark Gildersleeve, his wife Joanne, and thier daughter Lily. It’s been a long time because he works shiftwork at the mill. We ate lasagne and Lily didn’t want to eat it. Everyone tried to get her to taste it, even going as far as an ice-cream bribe. She never relented, instead finding fun jumping on our couch. All the adults agreed that we were picky eaters at her age and refused to eat so this should come as no shock. Mark likes to read and paint when he can. He did this painting years ago.
I went the zoo today and saw this guy. The zoo in the winter is empty. Most of the animals were out and lively. Visited with the one-eyed owl and the one armed gibbon, made my rounds and said my hello’s.
I moved last year and the thing I like best about my new neighborhood, the thing that’s better than absence of jock bars, sports stadiums, and garbage on the street, is all the rabbits. When the weather get’s warm enough, every walk I take a rabbit is scurrying through the grass to thier hiding place. It’s good to see them overpopulate the city.
