Summers holding steady with fall promising to show up eventually.
It’s my birthday on Sunday and it’s been a real year of it so I just want to thank every single person who takes the time to read this or look at the photos or click “like” on instagram. Everyone who wakes up early and stays out late and pushes around and cracks jokes. Everyone who shows up for the Friday night roll arounds and the usual morning szechuans. Everybody who shoots photos and films and edits and cooks and bakes and brews and paints and draws and tattoos and prints and makes music. Every one of my friends and family and of course my wife who encourages and supports all my wild nonsense and adventuring. It’s another year and I’m going to continue trying to make things and make things happen. This year is going to be the best one yet.

Stephen went out to Philadelphia to build a ramp for architecture.
Episode 50 of the Sundays edits. It’s a little sad but right on the money at the same time. Sometimes skateboarding is the perfect distraction. Sometimes you just need to be outside with friends.

There was some work done on this years Farecard.
It’s starting to come together.
I took a break to head to Indiana to check out the Lake County Fair.
Saw some prize winning animals.
Saw some prize winning produce.
Had an elephant ear.
Petted some rabbits. All in all a pretty good fair.
We lost a familiar face from Wilson mornings. Fit Mike is headed to Hawaii. I have no doubt he will continue living the best life ever more fully in the islands.
Listen to bob morley. Boys on the side. Madness in the mitten. There was a trip to Detroit.
Ann Arbor? I forgot all the names but this park was top shelf.

I blew it on the photos. All these involve grinding over the deathbox. Dudes were excited about vacationing.

Just a friendly reminder Smalls does it right.
I also roasted up this years first batch of pumpkin seeds. I tried a different technique on these that involved boiling them in salt water. Made the flavors more subtle and refined but I kind of missed the salt grit. The next batch is one the way.
BBQing in the USA! BBQing in the USA! Nick and Anne Marie rolled out the red carpet and fired up the grill over labor day weekend capping off summer with burgers and dogs!
Finally I’m super excited to have the “curbs, tacos” coozie over at Half Acre. Stop in, grab a coozie and some beer, give out some high 5s and attack the weekend. These are perfect for keeping things cold and motivating your friends to skate curbs and eat tacos. It’s also a pretty swell gift for your friends or neighbors.
