Mid 70s is what I’m hearing. To bad I’m going to miss it. Get out there and enjoy it for me.

So the days are starting earlier and staying longer.
Last Friday I went to check out the Get It Together Again show. I thought it was here so I wandered around and checked out some of the basement shows. This is one of the best buildings in Chicago.
Turns out it was across the street. No worries. I made it there right on time.
The show was a great showcase of a lot of different work. Here’s one of Ben Speckmann’s parking meters.
I really loved this piece by Michael Pajon.
It always seems like there’s nothing to do and then on one random night there’s everything to do. I left here and went to a show I really enjoy at 360see. Of course I didn’t take pictures. Take a look at Bag Painter to see some outstanding criminal portraiture.
After that I headed to the 50/50 Alderman show to mingle with some surprisingly lively alderman.
It was a pretty awesome show.
Everyone had their own unique take.
I was stoked to be a part of it.
I left to go meet Allison. She ate a cheeseburger. First one in over 20 years. Afterwards we tried to go back so she could see the show but there was a line out the door. When we finally did get in it was stuffed like a turkey.

The weather has been cooperative and tolerable.
Not the best pre-szechuan meal. It’s not bad but it take a bit longer to get it going.
Already putting footage in a folder for some sort of summer edit.
Filmed so much we killed the battery and had to shoot stills.
An A-O-K Saturday.
