Weather:
Let’s be honest. This has probably been the best November so far.
Happy Thanksgiving. It’s almost here and that means it’s almost done and that means it’s almost officially the holiday season. For the past several years I have been putting together special holiday packages of random fun stuff and mailing them out. If you’re interested in receiving one of these just let me know. If you’re one of the many people who’s received these in the past do me a personal kindness and send me over your address. I’m sure I have it and you might not have moved but I’d appreciate it.
While we’re on holiday gift giving here’s a few reliable suggestions. One of the amazing zines over at Parking Block Publishing would make a perfect stocking stuffer for that special someone. If you enjoy the obituary pictures I make you can pick up a publication containing them from the mighty Soyfriends. You know how I was just talking about holiday packages? “Good Night Chicago” was among the items that were included last year. You can find the last few copies and a ton of other awesome stuff over at Little Paper Planes. No pressure, no worries, just some solid gifts for the ones you love.
One final holiday happening. This Saturday I will be making some art in the window of Uncle Fun. Feel free to stop by and say hi and do a little shopping.
Other things coming up in the near future? New stickers should be here in a week or two. I added a few new puzzles. I have a picture in the upcoming issue of Criminal Class Review. Work is underway on the next round of zines over at Parking Block. That’s about all I got right now.
Alright let’s get to it.
There was a Halloween extravaganza at the Wilson Skateboard facility.
wilson halloween from wilsonskate on Vimeo.
This guy put it together.

Along with this guy.

A cow skating.

Frontside.

Backside.

I don’t think this is even a costume.

I remember Halloween.

Flooded.

I’ve been get inspired by Sweetness lately.

I traded a portrait of Barry Sanders with Mark Penxa for this amazing picture of Walter Payton. He’s starting the next Stealing Signals series up now. So good!

Juan, the grandmaster of the grill.

Tourism.

The Buster Brothers. This was going to be an edit but only one trick was filmed and then….

…lunch with Gnar Tom at Crisp.

Sort of a Korean Philly Cheesesteak.

I agree.

These fry chips were made with a power drill.

Morley over the hip.

Chad and Nikki had a mustard party.

Normally I hate mustard but eventually I found one that I really liked.

At one of Chad’s BBQ’s this summer a bet was made. Bright and early the next morning this went down.
Heading to Indiana.

Lincoln Carryouts.

Lincoln Cheeseburger with sauce.

How serious is this sandwich? Pretty serious, I’m wearing a tie.

I also snuck in a visit to Hot Dougs.

I went with Keyboard Cat.

Mole!

Finally there was the Dude Life promo edit filming szechuan.

Which turned into a second visit to Cafecito.

I sure love sandwiches!
That was the tailslide edit.
Maximum overdrive.
