Weather:
Too cold for June. Summer is still waiting for clearance to land.
The opening for the Ferris Buehler show at Believe Inn was a few weeks back. It was pretty well documented. To learn more please check out Tony Francesconi’s or Chad Goodrum’s pictures, browse through the Multi Polar Projects blog, read the reviews at Bad at Sports or New City, or you could just keep scrolling and see what I took away from the night. The other option is to show up at the closing party on June 21st, 1:00 – 4:00pm so you can see it all yourself.
Look for the sign. You’ll know your there when you see it.

The space really keeps your observing skills busy. Every where you look there’s something new to see.

The curating dream team, H. and D. Mathis.

Pointing out a minor detail that needed adjusting.

Porous’s pictures had to be installed twice. It all came together quite fantastically.

He had a ton of stuff up and since it was reasonably priced so people grabbed it like hot buttered popcorn.

A few of my favorites disappeared before I could buy them.

Big city fish? Yes, big city fish.

Steve’s voting for Carol.

Gabe’s paper plane station was well used all night long. I took a few direct hits to the head. The thing people had the hardest time with was not apologizing.

Gabe Levinson’s ‘Dudes thinking about Dudes.’

This is my contribution. People in the movie that you don’t see in the movie.

The artists: Gabe Levinson, the ghost of Porous Walker and Tim Pigott.

That’s most of the show related pictures. The rest are mostly people at the opening.
This guy is a scientist.

Scoop with the megacam.

Gnar Tom? Yeah, I’m not sure what’s going on here. Possibly a magic trick.

Mark showed up drinking a 2 liter on the way to skate Logan.

Buster Bear and Dry Bones repping.

Juan and Eric discussing lawn care and garage sales.

Second Bedroom/Medicine Cabinet mastermind, Chris Smith get’s on the list.

Speaking of the Medicine Cabinet, Nick Peterson has a show coming up there.

I don’t get to skate with Dan enough.

Suhail is almost one of the galleries neighbors.

Nate and Arluck shocked by the artistic awesomeness on display.

You’ve been warned.

Next week it’ll be back to the usual posts about maple syrup, steak tacos, skateboarding and general nonsense.
I’m also cooking up something involving curbdogging and the Flash Gordon soundtrack. Who’s in?
