Weather:
It’s been all over the place but for now it seems to have settled on cold and wet.
Next Saturday!
Flatspot follow filming?
Out of town visitors?
Barnyard vert ramps?
I’d suggest reading the rest of the post for all this October excitement.
If you’ve been wondering why Lou hasn’t been at Wilson wonder no more. He’s been busy making his own pool coping.
A few Friday’s ago everybody met up at the plaza. Even Chris showed up.
Politics were discussed. Shredding happened.
This is just confusing.
This has been around for awhile and you may have seen it posted at SkateIllinois but if not then I guess it’s new to you. I need new wheels.
Scott’s got style. If you’d like to enjoy more of his skateboarding maneuvering watch Gary:PartyoftheMind and then take a look at trailer for Skateboard Video. I’m not sure when this’ll premier or where you can get it but I’ll you know when I do.
After the plaza we went and had pizza.
Now that it’s getting cold and the only choices are indoor parks or ramps I’m a little sad. I’ll miss the mornings szechuans.
Mexican Coke is the best. It comes in bottles and uses real sugar. I could probably drink a hundred of them. Here is Alex enjoying one shortly before there was a gun pulled at the Ravenswood spot.
I didn’t catch the gun pulling but the rest of the footage from that day will probably be put together sometime before Christmas. For now please enjoy a picture of Morley eating corn in a cup, the Alex Chronicles and Seargent Mario Robinson courtesy of the Wilson Warriors Action Skate Blog Team.
Congratulations to Suhail and Kristen!
It was quite a reception. Easily on of the best I’ve ever been to.
Ricky was in town. He made it out the next morning after dancing until 4am.
Grant made it out to. Here he is enjoying a dance with the father of the bride.
My good friend Suhail on the best day of the rest of his life.
Back to the skateboarding.
Mark sent over some 4 year old footage of him and Hector. Hard to believe it was so long ago. It holds up well.
There’s new Such Luck stickers. Give me a yell if you want some. There’s very few pictures of me skating cause usually I’m behind the camera here is the first exception.
Morley and Gordon did some collaborative grip art and they are psyched.
No seriously.
Some polaroids.
The elections about 2 weeks away. Please vote. Dan is backing Tesco.
Steven. He’s been killing it.
Tom. Now fully employed.
Grant wearing his griphat.
Kyle has a book coming out soon.
Ryan on his 30th birthday.
Out of nowhere Nick was in town.
Charlie was in town as well. Unfortunately the only picture I got of him looks like it was part of an early AWS video.
The good news is we got to skate so you’ll see some footage of him playing on playground equipment in the distant future. We also happened upon on a spot and he took this photo of me. Like I said I’m usually behind the camera but I really like this picture. Please click for the full size.
That’s it for this installation.
I’m starting to work on my holiday packages. Every year I put together some sort of artsy-crafty project to send out to my friends to celebrate the holidays. If you’d like to receive one of these please get in touch and let me know.
See you November 1st.
