you yell out in defiance

Weather:
The good and the bad. The bad is that it’s still about 20 degrees outside. But the good outweighs the bad today. It never snowed again. Most of the snow has disappeared and the sidewalks and streets are mostly ice free. Most importantly, when I left work the sun hadn’t set. Good job earths orbit!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that this week. I finished up a new ink pen picture and added a random polaroid.

Scott Harrison and Shawn Hebrank also posted up new paintings. Good stuff all around.

That was going to be it but then Alex came through with this gem of an edit. Judging from the edit style I assume Scott had something to do with cutting and clipping. Hopefully you can look forward to more in the days to come.

Finally, I just heard this guy died.

It bummed me out. The first time I saw him it was a 115 outside. The kind of day were you sit in the air-conditioning and sweat. He was on the corner of Damen, North and Milwaukee doing full on exercises, at one point doing about 30 pull ups on the traffic light, wearing hot pants and dancing. Say what you want but I’ll remember seeing that forever. So I hope he didn’t die. I’d like to think that he’s out there giving someone else a memory burn and a smile.

Long live the wingnuts.
