Weather:
Persistent winter.

This is Such Luck’s 2nd anniversary. 2 years of art, skateboarding, photography, random words and general awesomeness. I’d personally like to thank every single person who’s helped out, participated, read, contributed, laughed, drove, woke up early, ate tacos, or in any way had any thing to do with this.

This weeks superafantastic stuff:
New stickers.
Morley and Steven’s blog.
Last night’s lunar eclipse. Dark side of the moon style.
Shawn’s shirts.
Porous’s shirts.
Maria’s art.
Yeah boardshop.

This guy is now officially an old man.

Scotty Karate turns 30

And to celebrate Scotty’s birthday we all went bowling.

I laughed about the bowling return kick but then I did the same thing. I still bowled my best game ever. 128.

On Saturday we drove behind a truck with special ‘power stroke-n-it’ decals and metal testicles. Not sure how or why you’d make that purchase.

Weather:
Extra-icey. There’s a thin layer of snow on that hides the extra slippery uneven super-ice. I slipped quite a few times with my tractionless shoes.

Pretty bummed. Polaroid announced they have stopped making film. For me that means it is time to start hoarding. So if you feel generous or would like to make a donation to suchluck and you see Polaroid 600 film on sale at the local Walgreens or the CVS pick some up and hand it over or drop it in the mail.

What this does not mean:
You get to keep all of the picture once they are taken.
You get to stand over my shoulder and tell me that I should take the pictures more competantly.
When we go to the pizza place I have to buy you a slice. This goes for McDonalds, Burger Chef, the taco spot, the Dairy Queen, Portillo’s, Hot Doug’s, 7-11, etc.
I am offering to take pictures of your child, dog, hot rod, gnome collection.
I will help you move a piano.
I will help you rob a liquor store.
Your axles will no longer slip.
You can write this off on your taxes.

What this does means:
You will be filled with the warm feeling of contentment knowing that you have helped bring joy to the world by offering raw material for artistic transformation. (hows that for some word-smithery)
You will receive my genuine gratitude and thanks.
I can give you some stickers in return. (you’d probably get those anyway)
If I was making you a shirt you’ll get that as some sort of a trade. (again you’ll get that either way)
You’ll probably get to enjoy a few more posts per year.

No pressure, no worries. I’m just trying to get the film while it’s still around and I can only afford to grab so much. Onward.

Friday night we went to eat Robot Food at the toy Thai place. I wouldn’t recommend it if your Pezophobic.

There was a spice to it.

Hit Cream City on Saturday. Drama aside, it’s the best indoor park in the Midwest. They built stuff I want to skate. I really hope it stays around. Parking blocks are the best.

As promised two edits and a trick tip.

Sunday at the Car Wash Spot.

Finally, Spencer phones in the indoor trick tip.

Valentine’s is Thursday. Don’t forget to get flowers or at least a bag of those chalk tasting hearts.

Also, next Monday is Lincoln’s millionth birthday.
