someday my plane will crash

Weather:
Some rain. I might have seen snow but it seems like fall is still holding on and winter will have to wait at least a week or two.
Lot’s of birthdays this week. So if you see any of the following people wish them a happy birthday. Sing the song if you’d like:
Both of my sisters.
Natasha.
My dad.
Nate.
And of course Alex.

Lou’s show was absolutely outstanding. If you missed it, I’d suggest getting there before the month is over. Here’s a few pictures from the opening. I think Tony and Mark’s daughter Lily had better documentation but they haven’t posted it up so you’ll have to settle for mine.
Here is the man discussing his work.

Some of his pictures. Ask him about the technique and hopefully it’ll inspire you to make some stuff yourself.

Just like the last show, I showed up dressed like a twin for some reason.

Best Wilson graffiti ever.

Thursday was the Beer Slave premier at Pontiac. The frontside from side to side on the cradle is a pretty insane stunt, antiheros got some tiny kids who are pretty serious, Sweet Cobra has a song in it and Grumpys got a trick in the credits. Highly recommended.

Bert!

Steve and Spencer. Text Olympics.

Then The Party Downers killed it.
One of the best bands out there.

As I type this they are probably finishing up their set at the McRad show. Yep I’m blowing it by missing it. They are also playing Tuesday at The Note so be there. Sweet Cobra played last night and I missed that as well. I think they’re playing December 1st. I’ll post it when I know. This weekend I also missed Naked Raygun, Sludgeworth and Bad Brains at Riot Fest. There’s only so much time.
All of the usual lurkers. Random Wilson footage. The November edit.
Finally, what will most likely be the last trick tip of the year from Spencer. This one was a bit of a pain to get because of the mob of children and the audio is a bit low but you’ll get the idea.
I just made some salsa. It’s making my eyes water and my tongue burn.
Four day weekend. That’s the best thing about turkey day.
