and anyway I told the truth

Weather:
Weird rain. It doesn’t really rain it just kinda windexes. It’s sort of like when you’re at the produce section at Jewel and they start misting the vegetables.

The Pilsen art walk was good. Lot’s of art and random people and finally the show is officially over. I’d like to personally thank every one who came out and checked it out and Ricky and Mark for putting together solid work and most importantly Lou for being such a swell. More on that later. For now you can check out Scoop’s photos from the opening. He captured it much better than I did. Hopefully we’ll all do it again in the future.

Justin came by on Saturday and gave the whole situation a thumbs sideways.

Justin moped style

Jeff kept up with them on his bike. So I guess he’s in shape or they’re lazy.

On Sunday Turbo went grail.

As a special treat there’s two trick tips this week. The first is more of a general how to. First you have Lou and Paulie.

Lou and Paulie at EXP

They have an ipod that sort of bricked. Technically it still ran but no music came out and the hard drive made whirring and grinding noises and while we sat around on Saturday I got it in my head that I should fix the whirring and grinding and then the music would probably come out.

opened ipod

At this point things where still working as well as they were before and I continued working.

more opened

Here I am with my high tech tools (pocket knife) starting to take out screws.

getting to the ipod hard drive

I got kind of obsessed about seeing the shiny inner workings and then they cracked.

shattered ipod drive

Hmmm probably should have been more gentle.

beyond repair

Good as new?

such pod

I call that the FUBAR.

Spencer came through with another installment in his trick tip series. I call it the Natas or the StreetsOfFire. I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.

It’s getting dark early. Not a fan.
