release the hostages

Weather:
Shockingly warm. I’m started to wonder if we’re going to get jipped out of fall and just go straight to winter.

I posted some of the stuff I used in the show, some puzzles and some portraits.

Speaking of the show. This weekend is the last time that you can see it. It’s also the Pilsen Art Walk and open house. So I will be there for a while on Friday night and then 12-4 Saturday and Sunday. If you have some time, stop down and check out the other spaces and galleries and bring me and Lou some tacos or some cookies.

Last weekend Spencer came through with this trick tip. I’m sure there’s a real name for it, maybe fakiehalfcabbonelessvarial or something. I just call it the Ban This.

Short post due to quarterback controversy.

Bring back Thomas Jones and while your at it, bring back Elton Brand.

Weather:
Last night it was in the mid-seventies with a perfect breeze.

I would personally like to thank everyone who came to see the The Such Luck Show. As usual I didn’t take nearly enough good photo’s of the work or the crowd but I figure you’ll get the picture. I think Tony Francesconi and Ricky probably got some better ones so I’ll throw up a link if/when they get them up. There was a really good turn out, everybody sold something, the Old Style got finished and everyone seemed to have a good time. I was a bit of a stress case so thanks for your patience. Here we go..

Chadeus

Chad showed up early with his son Ben.

Pat

Pat was reassuring.

Ricky

Ricky still has a ruined finger.

Alan

Alan getting his soul stole.

Scoop on the job

Tony getting the scoop.

Brooke

Brooke approved.

Shirtless

Mark criticized the other shows and wore a shirt.

Zone and Turbo

Even Scott and Alex made it out.

Jose

Jose put together the edit I posted last week and deserves all the credit and praise. Here he is without his sling.

Kris and Scotty

Kris and Scotty enjoyed the beverages.

Tasha

Tasha is leaving for New York next Monday. It’s kinda sad.

Chris Smith

Chris came through and we discussed trade terms.

Scotty and me

Karate and me.

At the bar

We ended the night with celebratory beers at the bar. That was the show opening.
Of course there was weekend szechuans.

Jason SaladFakie

Jason with a notched salad around the corner to backwards.

Mark Gildersleeve frontrock

Mark went frontrock.

The Jose interview got mucked up so that’ll have to wait but as promised, number two in the Spencer trick tip series.

Xandy told the best story the other day. I couldn’t recreate it if I tried. I haven’t laughed that much all year.
