Weather:
Winter so cold it burns. Normal Chicago January.

The fortune in my cookie started, “Your problem is….”

New picture. New stickers in production. Those should be here for February.

A belated birthday to Calabro who’s been on injured reserve with this guy, who’s been finding bank spots in his spare time. Summer still feels far but spring’ll probably show up eventually.

Margaret Flood is putting together a pretty ambitous project. If you like picture making you should get in touch and help her out with the Shapetionary.

One of my old favorites is rebooted. I hope he brings back “Day In,” for another round.

The big news of the week is my new hat. I can’t wear it cause it’s a summer hat but it will do well replacing the old sweat smooshed one. Eventually this will turn smashed like that one and then I’ll wear it for a few more years and the sweat stains will turn to salt and I’ll have to look for another new one but I’m safe for awhile.

As promised, here is the painting Justin Vick sent over. It’s too big to scan so all you get is this sketchy photo. I’m glad I get to see it in person every day.

Justin Vick - Skull

I’ve been getting too many of these.

Weather:
back to winter. The low teens next week. Worth it while it lasted.

Happy ’007. Shaken and stirred.

There’s two new pictures over here and a puzzle somewhere out there in the intertron. I’ll let you know if it surfaces.

Currently simmering on the stove: new Such Luck stickers, more puzzles and portraits, some kind of board with paint on it, the conclusion of the flipbook, and some sort of food zine. All input, ideas, criticism, and comments will be considered carefully and put into play if possible.

My amigo, Porous Walker, has put together this mystery spot of wonderment. Please pay him a visit and send your regards along with cunningly crafted contributions.

My accomplice on a near future serious museum trip needs to update her site more frequently. Photography by Natasha Gornick.

After getting lost in the loops, I found this gem by the Brothers Headband. Click until you find your way out of the philosophical forest.

This gentleman contacted me out of the blue and proposed some sort of distant future adventure. I’m still compiling a package for the international post. It’ll be done soonish.

Another Sunday afternoon at the Lincoln Park Zoo…

Brilliant.

Today I received a super-package of mail from an old friend and hopefully next week I’ll be posting up the painting that was it contained. I also got new stamps.

This is turning out to be the best year ever.
