pave the world

Weather:
Best week of fall weather I can remember. Solid 50′s and dry. This week the mecury is supposed to hit the floor and the snow’s supposed to cover the concrete. Let’s hope it holds steady for a while longer.

I hope everyone enjoyed tacos and turkey and didn’t work. More birthdays and busy brunches and the weathers been keeping me away from the computer so no post last week.
A new picture is up over here.
Mark’s been busy too.

The rest is about skateboard piloting, so if this is not your concern please check back next week for serious holiday shopping reports and psychological horseplay.

Raise a glass and wish this kid a happy birthday.

Little brother to the ledge lurkers, grilled cheese and honey connoisseur, skatepark orphan, mayor of wilson. Backside into the ply.

Next spring I’m bringing a new piece of wood, that’s been the best addition to the park this year.
With the weather co-operating and the holiday providing extra days off, every one who was in town made it out. The old men arrived early. Jobs? Families? Coping?

I grew up skating with this fellow. He hadn’t been on his board in a stretch but he still managed to smile and laugh and cruise with speed and abandon. A talented musician, a serious scientist, and one of my oldest friends. You can tell he’s hyped to see me.

That’s it for this week. Kinda weak I know. What’s in the future? Probably karaoke and holiday parties. And more exacto knife blisters. A bit of crushing holiday stress. Hopefully tomfoolery.
Go pop some shiftys. Just real quick.
