Weather:
First flurries of the year.
My definition of early in the week is the middle of it.
Eric and Kate got married so raise a glass for them.
Enough dilly-dallying heres four paintings from Ricky Cozzolino. He’s been sending stuff pretty steadily so you don’t have to see my scribblings all the time. I hope he keeps sending stuff when he goes back down under.

World renowned scab vendor Scott Harrison put together a new site that hurts my head. I think it would take a few days to navigate through. I don’t know, I keep getting lost.
Circustrick Mark was off work for a few days and finished up his lastest piece. Pretty soon he’ll have enough to cover a wall. I’m mostly happy we got another Saturday morning lurk session in before the weather turned ugly.

As I said before, I’m working on putting together a gallery for the regular contributors. I’ll get around to it in November or December.
Last week my brother came up with his wife and son. After talking about it for a year he finally got to eat at Hot Dougs. He’s a serious cased meat connoisseur. One time he was home from Taipei and he ate brats three times a day. It’s odd the food you miss when you live in a foreign land.

After getting stuffed we went to the oldest free zoo in America. I got to visit with all my favorite monsters.

On Friday we went and checked out the You Are Beautiful show. I still can’t say enough positive things about this project. Here are some shots from the show but I’d suggest seeing it in person while its up.

Before the show we stopped and got one of my favorite Chicago delicacies.

Saturday I compiled so fantastical footage but I never got around to editing it so that’ll have to wait. For now enjoy the spinners.

Some fine artwork straight outta the sunflower fest.
