Weather:
Weekday 70′s, weekend downpour.
The week was pretty much a wash so there will be no stories of mega-anything.
Nick Peterson sent this over from his new home in the city of Portland.

He’s going to be in a show coming up and here are the details: “the show is a silent auction with all the procedes going to buy cargo bikes for the farmers who grow stumptowns beans. it is at the divison street cafe i think it will start aroung 8ish and will end around 10ish. the exact address is 4525 se. division portland or. 97206″
As I’ve come to learn, Nick always manages to leave out some key detail. In this case the actual day this is all happening. So if you live in Portland go bid on his paintings, everyday, until the actual shindig takes place. He did the same thing with his going away party. I think it started at 9:00 on a Saturday and the location was the greater Chicagoland metro area. I’m not sure if this one will be auctioned but I’d buy it if I was there.

I had to catch a train downtown early Sunday morning. These pigeons are making proper use of an eternal flame.

The city’s doing construction at the Washington stop on the old Block 37. This was put up to make it look better.

It’s worth taking the train down to see in person. In the walkway there’s about 200 smaller letters made by different artists. After seeing that go see the giant periodic table.
