Weather:

Rain until Sunday.
I saw these melted houses in Indiana, kinda of like the wizard of oz but more depressing and without the opium fields and midgets.

I also saw this tricked out truck with the megabrush job but the more I thought about it the more it bugged me. “Collateral Ramage?” Yeah I get that it’s a play on words, but not really cause it doesn’t make sense. Then I tried to think of another example of a similar play on words that didn’t really make sense and for a long time I couldn’t and that bugged me more. Ideas?
Hundai Driver (like Sunday Driver but in a...no that kinda makes sense)
If there’s any place I’d like to live it’d probably be here.

Last week was Go Skateboarding Day in Chicago and I’m glad I went. A lot of people thought they were too old, or over it, or they had legit excuses like having to work but when else am I going to be able to skate with thousands of people and stop traffic and generally smile and laugh. Uriah and Vache did a good job pulling it together. I learned that I’m not a talented photographer of the action sports variety. I usually forget to take pictures. Here some of the people that posted up and lurked. If you want the action shots go to the google and look it up. There’s some good one’s out there.

I watched We Jam Econo last week. It was a really sad, touching story of hetero-heartbreak. A worthy tribute to Mike Watt’s best friend. I don’t know if he ever got over it. Oh the music side, I was amazed at how tight they were.
I got some more work this week.

Weather:
“Ain’t nobody ever drowned in sweat.”
I guess we’ll be testing that.

Short post this week cause I’ve been layed low by the sinus sickness. It got so bad in my delerium I visited a dentist and asked to jam the suction tube up my nose to drain it proper.

There’s a new puzzle up so look at it when you can. When I was a youngster the Fourth of July was the only time I was allowed to smoke cigars. Well I wasn’t allowed but Piazza’s Dad let us smoke them so we could light off firecrackers without a lighter.

Last week I got some work done on my arm. More work soon.

Blondie?

We went to Blues Fest because Allison had out of town visitors and when you have out of town visitors you have to cater to some odd whims. This was the highlight for me.

Robinson's Ribs

With all the Photoshop and graphical mastery and rendering and megacomputers, I’m glad there’s still some of the old design’s in use.

Speedy Delivery

Sessioned and dorked around with vacationing Mark, Tasha had a wonderul graduation celebration and I got some superawesome mail. Besides the sickness it’s been a pretty outstanding week.

Off to blow my nose.
